Few things are more refreshing than an ice cold beer on a hot summer day. And at Barley Creek Brewing Company, you can have that and more! Whether you’re looking for a delicious meal, refreshing beverages, or a place with atmosphere, Barley Creek has it all. Located on Sullivan Trail in Tannersville, Barley Creek is just a stone’s throw from Camelback Mountain and the perfect spot for your next date – night or day!
Since 1995, Barley Creek Brewing Company has been a staple among Pocono restaurants. Known for its carefully crafted brews and mouthwatering menu, Barley Creek is the go-to for beer drinkers and foodies alike. Craving a pale ale and a pizza? Try a pint of Slippery Slope and a Cheesesteak Pizza fresh from the brick oven. In addition to their own beer, which is brewed on-site, they offer a rotating selection of guest brews. But if you’re not into beer, no worries! Barley Creek has also mastered the art of distilling, so you can enjoy your favorite cocktails made with local liquor, including vodka, whiskey, rum, and even moonshine. That’s right, I said moonshine. Try “The Barley Palmer,” and thank me later.
Over the years, Barley Creek has certainly broadened its horizons. Now, that even includes the most important meal of the day. The Morning Toast serves up breakfast at Barley Creek Brewing Company from 8:01am until 11:00am daily. From crepes and frittatas to pancakes and eggs, The Morning Toast offers a delicious array of unique breakfast items. More importantly, you’ll want to check out the morning cocktail menu, because it’s 5 o’clock somewhere! Brunch favorites, like Bloody Marys and mimosas, have been reimagined. Bacon lovers won’t be able to resist the Bacon Bloody, while beer drinkers will enjoy The Man-Mosa, a spin on the classic mimosa that contains vodka and Barley Creek Belgian Wheat Beer. They’ll even spike your coffee or hot chocolate!
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, there’s more! This summer is the perfect time to check out the Pint Size Park – Barley Creek’s outdoor dining area and event space. Complete with a tiki bar, food truck, and wiffleball field, the Pint Size Park is the ideal place to spend an evening. Plus, there are fire pits! The Park is open Sunday from 1-9pm and Monday through Thursday from 4-9pm and offers plenty of fun games, like cornhole and ping-pong, that the whole family is sure to enjoy. Each day has its own special theme. Stop by for Taco Tuesday or Wing Night Wednesday. If you’re a seafood lover, like me, you won’t want to miss Sundays’ Seafood Bake & Boil. Clams, crab legs, and corn on the cob? Sign me up!
Did you know you can enjoy your favorite Barley beverages outside of the restaurant? The team’s latest venture is the Barley Creek Tasting Room & Pub, located at The Crossings Premium Outlets. With a variety of Pennsylvania craft beers and wine along with Barley’s small-batch spirits, the Tasting Room & Pub gives a whole new meaning to retail therapy. If you find yourself cheering on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders this season, look for beer from Barley Creek. Baseball and a Barley brew – a winning combination.
No matter how you define “summer fun,” let Barley Creek Brewing Company be part of your plans. Meet a friend for a drink, plan an outdoor date night, or tour the brewery (tours are at 12:30pm every day). Bottoms up!
