Today didn’t go as planned, but then again, does anything go as planned when you’re a parent? Shortly after my daughter’s preschool drop off, I got the dreaded your-kid-is-sick phone call. While my daughter is pretty miserable, she also just wants to be snuggled. For first and quite possibly the last time in forever, I got to rock her to sleep. I made sure to document the occasion with a photo and made a mental note of her sweet little face squished up against me. While this is not what I had planned for the day, and I don’t want my daughter to be sick, I’m thankful for the reminder to make those mental notes.

Normally at this point in the year we’re anxiously awaiting some warmer weather but Mother Nature decided to spare us that March snowstorm (unless I just jinxed us!) this year. Nothing turns things around in my house like sunshine and warmer weather. With summer on the horizon, it’s time to start planning your summer camps and activities. We have the details on a few great summer camps and also some spots to mark down on your summer bucket list.

We also had the chance to check out some of the other awesome businesses that are unique to our area. Alvin’s Offroad Playground and the Everhart Museum are perfect spots to spend the day. We also got to chat with the Principal and Art Director at Monsignor McHugh School and learn about the amazing things happening with the MMS family.

We hope you enjoy this issue of MeSee. As always, we love to hear from you! Join us for events. Share your ideas, stories and more. You can find us on Facebook or email us anytime at info@meseemag.com.

Now get out and enjoy the sunshine!
