Let’s be honest. After all, this is a safe place for parents to vent, sympathize and celebrate the joys, swerves and curves of parenthood. Winter is challenging and I hope I’m not the only one who let cabin fever get the best of them at times. Despite my resolutions to be more patient, sometimes my frustrations won. This winter I lost my temper, let my kids watch Trolls a thousand times, even bribed them with treats for just a few minutes of silence. Thankfully we made it through. Now that Spring is finally here no rain or yard full of mud can keep me from sending my kids outside.
This issue of MeSee we had the chance to talk to all kinds of talented parents in our area. Balancing work and kids is a never ending struggle and every parent has to find the recipe that works best for his or her family. We chatted with some unique moms who have found a way to combine both – no easy task!
With Mother’s Day, Earth Day and Memorial Day in our sights, we have lots of great crafts, recipes and activities for you to share with your little ones. Dads, don’t be afraid to show off your crafting skills – Mother’s Day is the perfect time to teach your kids that Dads know how to use a glue gun too! If you feel more comfortable behind the grill, we have some Memorial Day treats that could use your professional touch.
As always, we love to hear from you! Join us for events. Share your ideas, stories and more. You can find us on Facebook or email us anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope you continue to enjoy MeSee Magazine as much as we enjoy creating it. Now get out and enjoy the sunshine!
